14 New Gluten Free Products: 17th Sept 2020
Well well well, it appears the first 2 Christmas products have crept into my “New Products” post!! There’s also loads more new choccies and treats in this edition 🙂
Kit Kat Santas (gf, not df) – I’m guessing most of you have run out of your Easter Kit Kat Bunny stash??! Don’t fear, Santa is here!!!
Nomo Caramel Chocolate Drops and Bars (gf, df) – beyond excited to try theseee!!!!
Crusha Cookies and Cream (gf, df) – I’m REALLY loving Crusha at the moment. You just add it to milk (like you would squash to water). Sugar free and feels like I’m having a treat!
Galaxy Crumbled Cookie and Mint (gf, df) – Galaxy will forever be my favourite so if they can just keep releasing delish flavours like this, I’d be very grateful 🙂
NEW TO ME! Tesco Chicken and Bacon Pie (gf, not df) – always nice to find a normal aisle gf gluten product. £2.50 a pack
Hellmans Coleslaw (gf, df) – really into “naked bowls” for lunch at the moment. Basically a bunless burger with all sorts of bits round the side. I’ll be having this with it next week
Alpro Barista Soya (gf, df) – not sure if this is new? Now most coffee chains serve gluten-containing oat milk, its amazing to see the Barista style dairy free milks in the supermarkets so I can make it at home
Sainsburys Salted Caramel Cookies (gf, not df) – sound divine. Imagine using these for an ice cream sandwich.
M&S Made Without Chicken Fajita Wrap (gf – not sure if its df!)
<<No pic either – but good to see Marks sarnies are returning!!>>
Costa Butternut Squash Risotto (gf, df) or Mushroom Risotto (gf, not df)
<<Totally forgot to get a pic but these actually looked really nice!! So nice to be able to get hot, convenience food on the highstreet>>
Bonne Mamam Yoghurts (gf, not df) – the posh jam brand! I love it so I bet the real fruit yoghurts are good too..
Jack Daniels Tennesse Apple Whiskey (gf) – not usually a whisky fan but this caught my eye! And yep, whisky is gluten free. Want more info on gluten free alcohol? See my guide.
Green Vie Vegan Mozzarella Block (gf, df) – Curious to try it 🙂
Biscuiteers – Vegan & GF Tins (gf, df) – I’ve messaged and confirmed they’re coeliac safe, despite the website disclaimer that the biscuits are made in a gluten containing kitchen. Love this one!!
WARNING: New LINOR in Sainsburys pick n mix section – its SALTED CARAMEL and it is not gluten free. Only gluten free Lindt balls: white or strawberries and cream. We can also have a couple of the bunnies at Easter (will update you on that when we’re next there!). If you’re looking for a replacement for the milk truffle balls, Poundland, Aldi and Marks all have an equivalent.
ONE TO WATCH: not sure if its going to be gluten free but there’s a new Ben and Jerry’s flavour coming in October – “Save Our Swirled – Vegan”. in a bid to urge UK leaders to tackle climate change and put green solutions at the centre of their economic recovery plans.
