Snickers Smoothie Bowl

Can't go wrong with Snickers for brekkie right?! This Snickers smoothie bowl has a chocolately, velvetty ice cream base with peanut butter, nuts and choc sauce ontop. Make it what you like but here's my way of doing it...

Ingredients

Smoothie Base

  • 40 grams Avocado - *see "Ingredients" note above
  • 1 Banana - *see "Ingredients" note above
  • 100ml Almond milk/alternative
  • 2 tbsp Some Kind of Choc Powder/Sauce - *see "Ingredients" note above
  • 2-3 ice cubes - *see "Ingredients" note above

Optional Toppings

  • 1/2 Banana
  • Handful of Peanuts
  • Drizzle of Peanut Butter
  • Drizzle of Sweet Freedom/your fav choc sauce
  • 2 small pieces of Chocolate
  • Handful of other Nuts/Granola - my Ferrero Rocher Granola works amazingly here (look for it in the search bar at the top of my website)
  • Sprinkle of Chia Seeds

Instructions

  • Start by placing all of your ingredients into a blender with 1 tbsp of the choc powder/sauce. Whizz until smooth.
  • If its still a little green looking from the avo, add another 1/2 tbsp of choc powder/sauce and whizz again.
  • Taste and add more choc powder/sauce if necessary. You can also add a bit of maple syrup, sweetener or even peanut butter at this stage if you like your choc smoothie bowl to be super sweet.
  • Check the consistency - if its very runny and more milkshake like than ice cream, add 3 ice cubes and whizz again.
    >Dont freak if your smoothie maker makes a LOT of noise whilst it breaks down the ice cubes :') my dogs hate it but its worth it in the end haha
  • Pour into a bowl and decorate *beautifully* with all your toppings.
    >Tip for your Peanut Butter: Add a spoonful to a frying pan and put it on a very low heat until it goes runny and easier to pour. Also add a tsp of water to the pan if its still quite thick and you'd like the peanut butter to go further!!
